Today is August 16th and we are in search of the Loon chicks.  As we searched

 

 

 

 

 

 

we found this adult and we were rewarded with these wonderful photos.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

By the time we found the chicks the water was getting rough and our light was leaving.  Storm clouds were blocking the sun so I snapped a couple but we would return.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our next shooting day would be August 24th.
