Hello my name is Ansel Boyce and as of September 1, 2005, I am now located in Machias, Maine.  That's me in the picture with my lovely wife Joan

My purpose in developing this web site is to share my love of photography, automobiles and life in general.

In my formative years I studied at Pasadena City College and the University of La Verne in Southern California.  In addition to my studies I spent some time in a small corner of the world at the pleasure of my Uncle Sam.  This remote South Eastern Country of Viet Nam was undergoing some difficulties with North Viet Nam and needless to say it was a pleasure to return home.

Twenty-eight years were spent as a firefighter working at many tasks and earning promotions in the ranks.  Upon retirement I ended my career in the rank of Fire Chief.  Without a doubt this was a very rewarding career and one I will cherish to the end of time.

During these years a family was developed which has grown to provide me with three lovely children and at this date two grandchildren.
